GREAT SITE!!! I’ve been a Sting/Police fan for many many years…..WOuld love to tlalk Sting and Stuff via here and email!!! And – I’m just down the road!! in Belleville, IL.!!!! My wife went to Blackburn College in Carlinville, so we know and Love Springfield very much. Always take that family to the State Fair (Butter Cow!!!) every year. Anyway, just dropping a note to say great job and I look forward to talking, debating, laughing, posting with you in the future!!!! (btw- did you ever go to “The Ugly Sting Page” Website back in the late nineties when it was open? NOt Sting is ugly, but the website was, but it had the BEST B-side downloads, but alas…..was shut down (understandably), but I loved that site…..just told my Bro about youand your site and it reminds me a lot of that page….anyway….) Thanks for posting!
Hi Harry, thanks for stopping by and commenting. It is always nice to know another Sting fan, and especially those in my “neighborhood”! Perhaps we will meet at a concert in St. Louis sometime? I am not familiar with the website you mention, although I am intrigued by it! And the mention of the butter cow gave me a good laugh, that is big news each year here in Springfield! I look forward to your insights on Sting!
Amazing work! I’m a great Sting fan myself. Even though I’m still young I’ve already been following his music for years. It’s great to see a site about Sting with such valuable information and pictures. I will follow this, whenever I’m not able to see Sting live myself! Nice site Kathy. I’m a HUGE Sting fan as well. Always have been. It’s great to see pages like this set up about such a phenomenal musical talent like Sting. You know, the very first CD (remember those
that I ever bought or 0wned was Sting-’Nothing Like The Sun’. AWESOME CD!!! Loved it so much that I also later followed that up with ‘Nada Como El Sol’. Of course I was WAY into his music before purchasing the CDs even, but buying it was epic for me. I also remember taking a silk screening class back in high school and making Sting t-shirts using the album cover of NLTS. Wow, good times
