Sting’s appearance at historic Durham Cathedral on September 17 and 18, 2009 to perform songs from his soon-to-be-released new album “If On A Winter’s Night” for a private audience including fan club members was described as heavenly, among a plethora of other superlatives from those in attendance including descriptions like stunning, spiritual, exceptional, amazing, elegant, and beautiful.
