Just read the latest Entertainment Weekly and their early predictions of who will win American Idol. These predictions seem a little premature since some of the people mentioned haven’t even performed yet in the Top 36. And Danny Gokey is right there at the top of their list unfortunately. That is just unnecessary pressure setting him up to fail. (Think back to David Archuleta!) Can’t the media pick someone like Michael Sarver and just leave Danny alone?
Meanwhile I”m going to keep my fingers crossed that Ricky Braddy can make it through as a wild card. He was defnitely robbed, and the thief was Michael Sarver. Just about everyone who performed last week was better than Michael Sarver, with the exception of Casey Carlson. (I’m working with my therapist to overcome her assault on a beloved Police/Sting song.) So I’m going to start my own American Idol Season 8 winner prediction to set someone up to fail and even the odds a little . . . . MICHAEL SARVER is going to win American Idol!
