I love Charlie Parker’s Diner and the restaurant has been a frequent topic of discussion on this blog, including my first visit to Charlie Parker’s Diner and my victory in a giant pancake eating contest held at the restaurant. Just yesterday the SJR reported on ownership of the restaurant changing hands, as discussed here on this blog previously. Also, Charlie Parker’s Diner was just voted best breakfast location in the SJR’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2009. Congratulations to Charlie Parker’s Diner and best of luck to the new owner, Mike Murphy. He says a website is in the works, so hopefully soon everyone will be able to see their menu online. I’m feeling the need for some giant pancakes again soon!
