What is up with Springfield, Illinois becoming a pit stop for aging entertainers? Paul McCartney stopped here to use a gas station bathroom and it made big news. Now Bret Michaels just stopped here for an eye exam and made the news. I fully expect to hear next week that another entertainer has stopped in Springfield, Illinois for a colonoscopy and to read all the details in the local newspaper.
