Paul McCartney in Springfield Illinois is much ado about nothing. I can’t believe how worked up everyone is about this simply because Paul McCartney was spotted during a pit stop at a gas station on the very edge of town. It has been very entertaining the last couple of days. Paul McCartney probably didn’t even know or care where he was! And based on where he stopped, he’ll probably never want to come back again. It’s so funny how these five guys who spotted McCartney in Springfield are getting all kinds of media attention and interviews all over the world, unbelievable! Kathy, I bet you would be singing a different tune if it was Sting that showed up.
My point wasn’t WHO was spotted in Springfield, but that ANY celebrity that happened to use Springfield, Illinois as a public toilet could generate so much publicity. If Sting was ever spotted in Springfield, I would hope it was for a performance, and not just to use the facilities!
Kathy, are you saying that you would let Sting use your bathroom if he came through? Please clarify.
