I’m still grieving for the death of my five year old golden retriever from cancer, but want to celebrate her life with us and the wonderful memories I have of our faithful companion and affectionate family dog. I’ve put together a photo tribute to Holly on Flickr, you can see the slideshow here:

I also have a very short YouTube video of her taken a few weeks before she died, she shows her natural curiosity and cheerfulness with a tail wag, greeting and doggy shake.
Although I miss her terribly, I am very thankful that her suffering was minimal and is now over. It was only 33 days from the first mention of cancer until the day she died, and only the last few days were bad. We had 33 days to appreciate and love on her and show her how much she meant to us. She has left her paw print on our hearts, and I will never forget Holly and keep her memories with me always.
