The State Journal Register reported this morning we’ve had at least 22 aftershocks since the earthquake in Southeastern Illinois last Friday, April 18, 2008. I’ve personally felt only one, and that was the 4.5 on Friday morning around 10:15 am central time. The earthquake was a novelty, but I must say I didn’t like that one aftershock I felt later the same day, and now I’m ready for them to be over. It’s just unnerving, that’s all, and I really don’t want to feel that way any more! It’s definitely time for earthquakes to move to a different region of the world and give the midwest a break, don’t you all think?
