Springfield Illinois Remembering Tornado March 2006

Springfield, Illinois is my hometown and I can’t help but remember the devastating tornados that hit two years ago at this time. I remember trying to calm my kids during the storm by staying “Don’t worry, tornados never hit in cities but out in the country instead.” Boy was a wrong! I like this video showing the destruction and pray that we won’t have any more springs as destructive as 2006 ever again.
