ON A MISSION
Kathy W. carries two cardboard cutouts of Sting on
Thursday through downtown Springfield. Kathy, who has
been a Sting fan since 1980, was photographing the
life-size cutouts in front of various Springfield landmarks,
including the Old State Capitol and the Lincoln Home, with
hopes of convincing the musician to perform in
Springfield. "I'm a huge fan, and this would be a dream
come true for Sting to perform here," she said.

Joe Sumner and Fiction Plane in St. Louis with fans
On May 10, 2003 I saw Sting's
son, Joe Sumner, and his band
Fiction Plane perform for a
second time in St. Louis at
Mississippi NIghts.  I designed
and wore a t-shirt similar to
Sting's superbowl t-shirt with
some alterations for the Fiction
Plane concert.  Check out their
new album "Everything Will
Never Be Okay" because Fiction
Plane really rocks!
In March of 2003 I was
lucky enough to get this
DVD signed by Sting on
the outside and inside.

I met Sting's son Joe Sumner
(second from left), performing with
his band Fiction Plane in Decatur,
Illinois in February of 2003.
Sir Sting?
In August of 2002 I sent the following letter along with a nomination form for Sting's consideration
of a Unitied Kingdom National Honor.

In June of 2003 Sting was awarded the honor of Commander of the Order of the British Empire
(CBE).  This designation is only one level below knighthood.

If you would like to send a letter to the British Government on Sting's behalf for consideration of
knighthood, please click on the following link for forms and information:
